Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
This policy explains what information ClipCraft AI collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect what's needed to run the product, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and we don't run ads or sell your data.
What we collect
Account details — your email, display name, password (stored as a secure hash), and, if you sign in with Google, the name/email/avatar Google shares. Optional profile fields you choose to add: username, bio, photo, and social links.
Your content — projects you save (including audio you import or record), and tracks you choose to publish. Private projects are visible only to you. Public profile pages show only your username, display name, photo, bio, social links, and the tracks you posted publicly — never your email or billing details.
Billing— payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only your plan, subscription status, and a Stripe customer reference. Stripe's handling of your payment details is covered by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Operational data — standard server logs (IP address, request time) used for security, rate limiting, and debugging, and token-usage counts for metered features.
Analytics
We use Google Analyticsto understand how the site is used — things like which pages are visited, general region, and device type. It sets cookies to tell visitors apart. We don't send it your name, email, or the content of your projects, and we don't use it for advertising. You can block analytics with standard browser settings or extensions and the site works exactly the same.
What we don't do
No advertising, no ad trackers, no selling or renting personal data. Cookies are limited to what sign-in requires (your session) plus the Google Analytics cookies described above.
Where it lives
Your data is stored on our servers (currently hosted with DigitalOcean in the United States) and covered by routine backups. Audio you submit to AI-powered tools (like vocal extraction) may be processed by a GPU compute provider for the duration of the job, then discarded by that provider.
Your choices
You can edit or remove profile information anytime, delete posts and projects anytime, and delete your entire account yourselffrom your profile page (Profile → Danger zone) — it removes your content and cancels any subscription immediately. Prefer email? Ask us and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days. You can also export your audio projects as files from the editor whenever you like.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes materially, we'll notify you before the changes take effect. Questions or requests: thegardenbelow@gmail.com.
