How it works
Drop a frame
Press F and pick a device preset — iPhone, desktop, browser tab — or drag out a custom artboard on the infinite canvas.
Drag in stencils
Open the stencil panel (B), search, and drag buttons, navbars, lists and charts into your frame. Draw shapes and text with R, O, L, A and T. Everything snaps.
Style & export
Restyle fills, strokes and shadows in the panel, flip sketch/clean, then export crisp PNG or SVG — or save the project (free account) and download the JSON file.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mock Up free to use?
Yes. Designing runs entirely in your browser and everyone — even signed out — gets free export runs. A free ClipCraft account tops you up to 100 tokens a month (an export run costs 2 tokens, and paid plans drop that to 1 or 0) and adds saved projects.
Is this a Figma replacement?
It's deliberately smaller: a fast wireframe and mockup tool, not a full design-system platform. If you need multiplayer design systems, use Figma. If you need to sketch an app idea in five minutes without seat pricing, editor-seat upgrades or a proprietary cloud format, Mock Up is built exactly for that.
Can I get my work out?
Always. Export crisp PNG (1×–3×) or real-vector SVG, and download the entire project as a readable .mockup.json file you can store anywhere and import back later. Your work is never locked to our servers — that download is free and doesn't cost tokens.
Does my design get uploaded?
Drawing, styling and exporting all run 100% in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to save the project to your ClipCraft account — and even then you can pull the whole thing back out as a JSON file.
Why does everything look hand-drawn?
That's the sketch style, and it's a feature: rough-looking wireframes keep feedback about structure and flow instead of nitpicking colors and fonts. When you're ready for a crisper look, one click flips the entire document to clean rendering.
